The brief
What the farm needed
A working dairy needed high-volume on-farm storage that could be monitored remotely without the operator needing to be in the parlour. SMS-based alerting was a hard requirement.
The build
What we delivered
- 19,350L (20,357L max) Liscarroll Direct Expansion Milk Silo
- Twin RZB42 Copeland Scroll compressors (2 × 5.5hp)
- LE-200+ tank controller with SMS text alerting on temperature, fault and fill events
- Stainless silo construction with insulated wall and full CIP wash compatibility
The outcome
Result on the farm
- Tank temperature, fault state and fill level visible by SMS without dedicated monitoring software
- Reduced operator trips to the parlour to confirm tank state
- Higher storage capacity in a smaller building footprint than equivalent horizontal tanks
